River of Scents
Scents play a big role in our lives, be it attending an event, a function, even something as simple as taking a bath or a shower or even cooking. As different as these may seem from one another, they all have one thing in common. An inevitable, sudden change in emotion, a state of mind. When you hear the phrase "the scent takes you...", it takes you to that place.
We live in a world exponentially more advanced today than it was just short couple years ago. As much as this will always remain out of our hands and out of our control, remember there is always something far beyond our full understanding that's doing the true hand-holding. Nature has its intangible ways of never letting go of our hands, even when we fear it the most. You see, nature does not belong to us. It is we, who belong to nature.
Just imagine...
You're walking and are suddenly stopped by a passing scent of roses taking you somewhere out of this world you knew would only be heard of in whimsical fairytale garden stories, because just a second ago you were standing in the middle of the emergency department wondering what room the next trauma is going in and not a rose in sight or even a bouquet at any workstation for that matter.
Yet, somehow, the scent has taken you...
